READ BEFORE POSTING



Before posting make sure you use the search button!

- Make sure you look at ALL the stickies because they are there so you can find the information easily. There are also numerous -> FAQ's <- and -> Guides <- which are written so that you can find your answer quickly. All of the stickies, FAQ's and Guides are labeled so you find exactly what you need.

- Don't forget we also have an archive of over 50,000 posts about the game, most are repeats, so your question will have been answered already.

When posting a question

- When starting a new topic make sure the first thing you do is label it correctly (eg. "alliances", not something like "need help") This makes it much easier for someone else to search and find the answer they need so they don't need to post
- Next make your question/s clear and concise so that people can answer them easily and correctly

Posting an answer

- Before you post make sure you read the previous posts carefully so you don't answer then same thing again.
- If you are going to post an answer, answer the question only. We will not tolerate spam, post hunting or flaming. Comments like "I don't know" isn't at all useful in answering the question and will be warned. The "less than 3 word" spam rule that is found in the HoF and other places applies here too. Also, simply quoting someone else's answer doesnt cut it either.

- Also if a thread starts to become 2 or more pages long then it is more of a discussion than questions and answers. If this does happen it may be closed.

Mods
- The H&Q mods reserve to right to close a thread if they feel that it has been answered, the thread is going off topic or being spammed.
- If a mod closes your thread and you feel that it was closed too early then please contact the mod who closed it, do not start another thread.
- If you have any problems or queries please contact one of the H&Q mods.
